Owner Marisa Mancke is passionate about changing lives. Her own personal journey and struggle with weight has given her a unique ability to connect, relate and empathize with her clients. In fact, she stumbled into fitness after experiencing her own weight loss transformation in college. While pursuing her master’s degree in counseling, she was recruited during an aerobics class to become an instructor and the rest is history! She went into graduate school with the goal of becoming a Counselor/Therapist and she graduated with her master’s along with a newly discovered passion of teaching and inspiring people through their fitness journey!
At HHbM, clients are more than members. Clients become part of a supportive and fun community (hyperlink to the Challenges page)! Marisa incorporates a Cheers-like feeling where she knows your name and makes you feel like you are part of something special. She recognizes when you show up and she knows when you haven’t shown up in a while (don’t be surprised if Marisa reaches out to you to check on you).
A variety of classes are led by Marisa 7 days a week with a big focus on a “your body, your workout” philosophy. Just show up. Whatever your 100% looks like. It’s about showing up and giving what you can. It’s about self-care. It’s about prioritizing your mental and physical wellness and making time for YOU! You deserve it!
Cross-training bootcamps, Spin, and Step aerobics - there’s something for everyone. Injured? A little bit hobbled? Need modifications? No problem! Marisa provides lots of modifications for workouts while clients rehab or rebuild after surgeries or injuries - temporary or permanent. The focus is on what you can do, not what you can't and every day we can get out of bed, and we have the choice to move our bodies, we're BLESSED TO BE ABLE. Move because you CAN!
